Konya Selçuklu Krom Magnezit Tuğla Sanayii A.Ş. — KONREF — was founded in 1966 as Turkey's and the Middle East's first integrated basic (magnesite-based) refractory plant.
We control roughly half of Türkiye's natural magnesite ore reserves and produce our own Dead Burned Magnesia, giving our customers a single, traceable source from ore to finished refractory. Today KONREF is the largest refractory producer in Türkiye and exports to more than 40 countries.
