From our plant in Konya to your port — how KONREF ships, what documentation we provide, and what supply security from an integrated producer means in practice.
KONREF ships directly from our production site in Konya, Turkey, to the Port of Mersin — Türkiye's main Mediterranean container port — for international container shipments. We also ship via Istanbul Haydarpaşa and other Turkish ports for specific destinations.
Our export team manages all freight documentation in-house: certificate of origin, packing list, commercial invoice, bill of lading, chemical and physical analysis certificates, and any country-specific documentation (EUR.1, ATR, etc.). There is no intermediary between our factory and your purchase order.
Standard bricks: wooden pallets, shrink-wrapped, with per-pallet net weight matched to container capacity. Bulk bags available for monolithics and raw magnesia. Custom packing on request for specific destination or port requirements.
Full Container Load (20-foot and 40-foot) is our standard. Less-than-Container Load available for smaller orders via freight forwarding consolidation. Dry van containers only — no hazardous goods classification for standard refractory products.
Standard terms: FOB Mersin (or other Turkish port). CFR and CIF available for most destinations. EXW available for collection from Konya. DDP available for select EU destinations — contact us for confirmation.
Standard grades: 4–8 weeks from order confirmation, subject to production scheduling. Custom grades: 8–14 weeks. Spot availability for select standard grades — contact us for current stock status.
Standard export pack: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, bill of lading, chemical and physical analysis certificate. EUR.1, ATR (for EU destinations), and phytosanitary certificates on request.
Chemical and physical analysis results for each production batch, issued with every shipment. ISO 9001 certificate copy available for vendor qualification. Country-of-origin declaration for CBAM and US import documentation.
Supply security in refractories is not just about price — it is about knowing that the product will be there when the reline is scheduled, at the same specification as the last order. That requires control of the full chain. KONREF's integrated structure — from our own ore to the finished product — gives us that control.
