Konya Selçuklu Krom Magnezit Tuğla Sanayii A.Ş. (“KONREF”) was founded in 1966 as Turkey's and the Middle East's first integrated basic, magnesite-based refractory facility.
We are the largest refractory producer in Türkiye, supplying shaped bricks, unshaped monolithics and refractory raw materials to the iron & steel, cement & lime, glass, non-ferrous and waste-incineration industries. What sets us apart is integration: we own roughly half of Türkiye's natural magnesite reserves and produce our own Dead Burned Magnesia, so quality and supply are controlled from the mine to the finished refractory.
From our home in Konya we export to more than 40 countries, competing on consistent quality, technical support and security of supply.
We don't sell a generic brick. We match the right product to the right furnace and wear problem, and stand beside our customers with technical support and supervision.
